Yes. It is worth AU$400-500. The quality really just made me sit back and wonder how many hours of work might have gone into these. Every single piece is something you can use as an ornament or something. Two minor issues. 1) The knights have uneven holes and they do stick out enough for you to notice. I believe it is important for knights to look as much alike as possible. 2) The felt underneath lacks a border of some sort. The quality of the lining itself is okay, but it feels like the edges will disintegrate in the future.
