This is a lovely reproduction of an "Old English" set which combined features of both the St. George and Calvert design of the early 19th century. The finish is superb and the color of the dark pieces is gorgeous. Heavily weighted. Great for display and sturdy enough for playing and analysis. Delivery was within the promised period. I'd purchase here again.
The St. George set arrived from across the globe within a few days of placing the order. Nicely packaged, with each piece individually wrapped in foam sheets. Beautifully carved, and nicely weighted.
