The pieces feature empty bases with customized holes, specially designed to support the Chessnut Sensor Chip Set, ensuring accurate and reliable sensor performance during gameplay.

Base Hole Details (Approx.):

• Pawns: 10 mm diameter × 10.5 mm depth (sensor trimming required)

• All Other Pieces: 12 mm diameter × 16 mm depth
  Measurements may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the product, but all pieces are tested to work well with Chessnut sensors.

Sensor Trimming (Pawns Only):
For pawn installation, only the top rubber/plastic rim (outer lip) of the sensor needs light trimming. Do not cut the center disc or the bottom flat surface. Trim gradually and test-fit until the sensor fits snugly and sits flush.

This set includes 34 green felts, sized to match the bases of the chess pieces.
