This is perhaps the most accurate in proportions, shapes of the chessmen, of any Herman Ohme style set of chessmen on the market today. Superbly weighted, balanced. As you can see from my little photos, these pieces are harmonious on a chessboard with 2 inch square squares. I really do not know why I took so long to obtain one of these sets, a favorite design for many years. I plan to keep these forever. Thank you for carrying, selling, delivering another fine product in a timely manner.

Using this chess set from few weeks now. Mostly evening time, sometimes at home, sometimes in nearby park with friends. Board is solid, once you keep it on bench or table, it doesn’t move much.
Pieces are nicely balanced and don’t fall easily, even when playing outside. After game, all pieces go back inside the drawers, so no tension of losing anything. I’m using it normally, not handling very carefully, still it’s in good condition. Feels like a chess set made for playing, not just for show.
