Our Craftsman Chessmen are a tribute to the master artisans who have created one of the most striking and elegant chess piece designs. The standout feature is the beautifully carved knight with a distinctive mohawk-style mane, crafted in perfect symmetry with the clean, minimalist design of the other pieces. Each chess piece is heavily weighted at the base, offering excellent stability and a satisfying feel during play.
This distinctive knight design has also been seen in elite tournaments such as the Sinquefield Cup, reflecting its popularity among serious chess players.
Complementing the pieces is a beautiful Golden Rosewood and Acrylic Ivory chess board, expertly handcrafted by skilled artisans. The board features intricate faux-ivory inlay patterns along the borders, a detailed carving process that can take over two days to complete. The result is a chess board with rich wood tones and antique-inspired elegance, making it both a functional playing surface and a collector-worthy display piece.
