The quality of the pieces is great. The size is a bit bigger but fits amazingly on my board. The craftsmanship of each piece is great. This is my first chess set and my boyfriend is teaching me how to play. Well he is jealous of how incredible the set looks and fits into my decor.

I had been looking at numerous online versions of this design but all the pictures showed varied levels of workmanship. So it was with some trepidation that I finally made an order from this seller. I'm glad I did! The pieces arrived from India to Ireland in record time (quicker than deliveries from Ireland!). The pieces were well packed for transport and the wood craftmanship of the pieces was excellent (they looked exactly like the online pictures). Each piece showed with precise and tidy tooling and has been well sanded and varnished (including the knights which require the most curved finishing). The pieces are weighted well and the felt fixed to the base is neat and tidy. Really happy with the quality of the set and care taken for delivery and I would definitely recommend to other buyers looking for a set of this design. This set also comes with 2 extra queens (which is nice!).
