Having looked at various sets, I fell in love with the stunning tiger-striped rosewood pieces pictured. The pieces received, understandably due to natural wood variation, show more subtle grain. The chess pieces are superbly crafted, of excellent weight, scale, and feel, and are perfectly sized and a stunning compliment for my handmade chessboard.
